Why sell in Paris?
Paris has played a central role in the history of Latin American art: many artists from the continent lived, exhibited or met the avant-garde there, starting with Roberto Matta and the Surrealists. A sale at Millon puts works in front of European and international collectors.
What gives a work its value
The artist and the period, of course, but also the provenance (bought from a gallery, a gift from the artist, a known collection), exhibition and publication history, condition, and supporting documents: invoices, certificates, correspondence, old photographs. Keep and send us everything that comes with the work.
